Donations
of food, clothing, and other essentials can be brought directly to the
shelter located at 720 4th Street between the hours of 8 am to 8 pm
everyday. Please ring the front door bell for assistance when you
arrive.
While our wish list seems long, the families living at the center are always in need and most appreciative to receive the following items: - Diapers
- Band-aids
- Hair brushes and combs
- Canned Goods
- Soap
- Stamps
- Clothing
- Disposable razors
- Gift cards to Sam's Club, Wal Mart, Publix, Home Depot, or Lowe's
- Garbage bags
- Toothbrushes
- Pillows
- Paper supplies
- Laundry detergent
- Stationery
- Deodorant
- Bleach
- Sheets and blankets
Because
storage space is limited, please call us at 772.567.5537 regarding our
immediate need for large items or furniture. Additional furniture
donations can be taken to C'Ya at the Thrift on our behalf. Our
clients are able to receive the items they need from the store, and we
are also given 50% of what is sold on our behalf! Please contact Cindy

We serve over 65,700
meals a year to our residents so donations of full meals are most
welcome. Please call 772.567.5537 and ask to speak with the Resident
Manager to coordinate this generous offering. The Homeless Family Center is most appreciative of goods donated in kind and we are always in need of the talents of licensed tradesmen.
