Homeless Family Center Board Committees:

Governance:  The Governance Committee works with all other committees, the Board of Directors, and the Executive Director.  This committee manages the corporation and prepares the agenda for the Board of Directors meetings.  This group meets monthly and for special or emergency situations.

Finance:  The Finance Committee works with the Development Committee, the Financial Manager, and outside auditors.  This committee is responsible for preparing the yearly budget, reviewing and monitoring changes in assets and cash flow, and tracking revenues and expenses.  This group meets monthly.

Development: The Development Committee works with the Finance and Marketing Committees.  This group's primary responsibility is fund raising and capital growth.  Working in conjunction with the Executive Director, this committee plans and coordinates major events and supports all awareness activities.  This group meets monthly.

Marketing:  The Marketing and PR Committee work with the Development Committee, Executive Director, and special events chairpersons.  This committee is responsible for public and community relations in order to build awareness about the Homeless Family Center.  This group procures materials for events, receptions, and community activities.  This committee meets monthly.

Program:  The Program Committee works with the Executive and Program Directors.  This committee reviews, monitors, and complies with all guidelines of ESG, HUD, DCF, and all other grants.  Their goal is to improve existing programs and to make recommendations for new.  This group meets monthly.
